Terms of service

Last updated: 6 October 2026

These terms apply to the Beeboard app (iPhone and web), the Beeboard dashboard and this website (together, "Beeboard"). Beeboard is provided by Tobias Karlsson, Sweden ("we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@beeboard.app.

By creating an account or using Beeboard you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Beeboard.

1. Beeboard is in testing

  • Beeboard is in late testing, with launch planned for early 2027. The web app is open to try and the iPhone app is in closed beta. Features can change, break or be removed while we work on it.
  • The app is free to use today.
  • Some services for LED walls may become paid later. Nobody pays anything until prices and terms have been agreed with them in advance.

2. Accounts

  • Give accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Beeboard.
  • You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

3. Acceptable use

Please don't:

  • use Beeboard for anything unlawful;
  • post content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, hateful or infringes someone else's rights;
  • try to get into other people's accounts, or into parts of Beeboard you don't have access to;
  • overload, disrupt or work around the security or usage limits of Beeboard;
  • resell or commercially exploit Beeboard without our agreement.

4. Your content

  • You own what you create: problems, circuits, photos, comments and session data.
  • You give us permission to store, show and copy it as needed to run Beeboard, for example to show your problems to other climbers on the same wall.
  • You are responsible for what you post, and for having the right to share it.
  • We don't accept objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You can report content and block users in the app. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms, and we try to act on reports quickly.

5. LED hardware and guides

  • Beeboard works with standard, off-the-shelf LED parts that you buy from other sellers, under their terms and warranties. We are not responsible for parts we didn't supply.
  • LED installations involve mains-powered equipment. You are responsible for installing it safely and according to local rules, or for having a qualified person do it.
  • Our guides are provided as help, without a guarantee of any particular result.

6. Our software and brand

The Beeboard app, website, server software and name belong to us. You may use Beeboard for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify or reverse-engineer the app, website or server software, except where the law allows it.

7. Availability

Beeboard is provided "as is". Especially while it is in testing, we can't promise that it will always be available, free of errors, or right for your needs. We may change, pause or stop parts of it.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, arising from your use of Beeboard. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.

9. Ending

You can stop using Beeboard and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously break these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as ownership and liability, still apply afterwards.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, especially as Beeboard moves from testing to launch. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we'll give notice of significant changes. If you keep using Beeboard after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.

11. Law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes go to Swedish courts, unless consumer law gives you the right to bring a case where you live.
